Designklassiker in neuer Schönheit: In einer behutsamen Sanierung entstand aus zwei denkmalgeschützten Bungalows ein großzügiger Familienwohnsitz, in dem Vergangenheit und Gegenwart, Kunst und Architektur, Drinnen und Draußen aufs Schönste verschmelzen.
Nach dem Kauf wurden die beiden von den Stuttgarter Architekten Kammerer und Belz entworfenen Bungalows miteinander verbunden und mit viel Respekt und Liebe zum Detail saniert. Das Sichtmauerwerk hat einen frischen Anstrich bekommen, das Dach wurde gedämmt, aber in seiner original Konstruktion erhalten und auch der Pool, die für die Bauzeit typischen Holzdecken und der Natursteinboden im Inneren durften bleiben. Vorhandene Nischen wurden mit maßgefertigten Einbauten ergänzt und für den Umbau der Bäder sogar Originalmaterialien verwendet.
Der Grundriss blieb unverändert. Er verbindet den Eingang im Norden mit dem parkähnlichen Garten im Süden, die Räume gehen fließend ineinander über, die Wände sind nur Raumteiler. Über zwei Innenhöfe und die 3,80 Meter hohen Fensterwände wird das Licht und die Natur von draußen in die Wohnräume geholt. Der sagenhafte Blick aufs Remstal lässt es bereits erahnen, aber erst am kleinen Tor hinter dem Pool, wo der Garten in scheinbar endlose Wiesen und Felder übergeht, offenbart sich das ganze Glück: Hier kann man den Pferden beim Grasen zusehen. Hier vergisst man Raum und Zeit. Hier ist die Welt in die Ordnung. Damals wie heute.
Mit seinen klaren Linien und der minimalistischen Ästhetik inspiriert der eingeschossige Bungalow von damals bis heute die Entwürfe zeitgenössischer Architektur und dient vielen modernen Bauten als zeitlos elegantes Vorbild.

Die Architektur ist angelehnt an die traditionelle Bauweise der Region und bietet auf kleinster Fläche maximalen Komfort und genug Raum, zu zweit und mit Gästen La Dolce Vita fernab des Massentourismus zu genießen.
Naturstein, Holz und jede Menge Liebe zum Detail: Schon beim ersten Anblick offenbart sich die Tradition des Tessins. Als moderne Interpretation des traditionellen Rustico greifen die zwei Häuser Bauweise und Materialen der Umgebung auf und fügen sich elegant ins Ortsbild ein. Auf den zweiten Blick überrascht das unprätentiöse Äußere im Inneren mit offenem Raumfluss, hochwertiger, individuell abgestimmter Möblierung und atemberaubenden Ausblicken. Der Bereich zwischen den beiden Villen ist als freie Kiesfläche mit Pflanzkübeln als Sichtschutz in Abgrenzung, aber trotzdem durchlässig und locker gestaltet.

Entwurf, Planung: Gebäude - Interieur - Einbaumöbel
Um die Gegenwart des feinfühlig sanierten Einfamilienhauses zu verstehen, muss man seine Geschichte kennen: Unweit der bedeutenden Stuttgarter Weißenhofsiedlung und zeitgleich mit den Häusern von Le Corbusier, Gropius und van der Rohe gebaut, war der ambitionierte Baugesuch von 1927 schon damals seiner Zeit voraus.
Fast 100 Jahre später ist es Bauherren und Architekten gelungen, dem Haus eine Zukunft zu schenken und gleichzeitig seine Vergangenheit zu bewahren. Wo möglich, wurde die historische Bausubstanz rekonstruiert – wo nötig, um neue kontrastierende Details ergänzt. Die Fassadengestaltung lebt von den breiten Fensterbändern und der betont horizontalen Linienführung. Markante Originalelemente der Erbauungszeit wie die filigranen, zweifarbigen Sprossenfenster wurden mit viel Liebe zum Detail wieder belebt, das Sockelgeschoss wurde farblich abgesetzt und der Putz mit einer speziellen Kammzugtechnik verziert. Folgt man den Travertin Treppen ins Eingangsgeschoss, wird man im offenen Wohn- Essbereich mitten in der Stadt von einer herrlichen Aussicht über das Feuerbacher Tal überrascht. Überall im Haus finden sich Zitate seiner bewegten Historie: die Terrazzo Fliese in Garderobe, Bädern und Eingangsbereich, das Würfelparkett in geölter Eiche, das in Handarbeit restaurierte Treppengeländer und die Holzdielen an den Wänden des Treppenaufgangs. Neu und Alt stehen in einem ausgewogenen Kontext und der Charakter des Hauses kommt mit dem zeitgenössichen Wohnkonzept ideal zur Geltung.
